note: The initial pressing of this single have the composer

note: In order to avoid confusion with
Capitol's 6000 numerical "Starline" reissue series, they reverted back
to the 2000 series that had been in use in 1952. However, 50's issues on
the old purple label had a prefix "F" to separate them from the 78's.
2214
You've Had Better Times/Sipping My Wine [1968]
2544
I Can Remember/Hard Times Rainy Days [1969]
USA Albums on Capitol
note: Capitol issued albums both in mono
and stereo with the same release numbers. However, most British artists recorded
and released their material in mono - Mistakenly, the two track masters were
mixed into stereo for USA albums - meaning that both had Peter and Gordon vocals
in one channel and the instruments in the other and some were issued in
re-channeled stereo/ Therefore, collectors should seek out the mono
releases if at all possible.
